Didactic Information |
DiGiorgio became known for his short, dash-like marks and dots in his work beginning in the 1970s. These achieve the desired effects in his images as a whole, but they produce their own independent patterns as well. Though there is resemblance to the work of George Seurat and pointillism from the turn of the twentieth century, the DiGiorgio did not credit this artist as an influence. (October 2014) |
