Crowley uses detailed realism to convey idyllic imagery of Native American life. In New York, he worked as an illustrator, and in 1974 moved to Tucson to pursue a fine arts career. He often used models from the San Carlos Indian Reservation in eastern Arizona, and most recently, as in this work, the Martineaus, a Paiute family from Northern Arizona. ----- Crowley utiliza realismo detallado para transmitir imágenes idílicas de la vida de los Nativos Americanos.
